Orders should be placed via our website; by telephone: 01376 569345 / 07913 673257 or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please have to hand the collection name and any colours / changes that are required when placing your order by telephone or email.
Advance bookings may be made via the website, using the link at the top of the homepage.
All products shown on the website are a fair representation of the products that we supply. Please note that due to factors such as monitor / display settings some colours may appear slightly differently on your screen as to the actual colour. Slight variations between similar products may be noticed due to the nature of our products being handmade.
Accepted methods of payment: credit / debit card, Paypal, bank transfer and cheque (please note that any orders paid for by cheque will not be processed until the cheque has cleared). All credit / debit card payments are processed securely through Paypal.
In the unlikely event that the price of an item has been advertised incorrectly, we will contact you as soon as possible to check whether you wish to proceed with your order at the correct price.
You have the right to cancel your order for a full refund at any time prior to commencement of production. After which time, a charge may be incurred to cover the cost of any material and production time.
We are sure that you will be delighted with the quality of our products. However, If you are not completely satisfied, you may return non-personalised products within 7 days and in perfect condition for a full refund. We will not refund the cost of postage unless goods are faulty. Please obtain proof of posting if returning items as we will not provide a refund if items go missing in the post.
Please note that personalised items may not be returned unless faulty.
The cost of delivery is calculated based on the value and weight of your order. If products are ordered together but require separate deliveries, will we notify you of the additional cost for delivery and will invoice this to you separately prior to despatching your goods.
Free of charge sample orders will be made especially for you and should arrive within ten working days of placing your order and in most cases even sooner than this. We despatch your FREE sample by Royal Mail letter post.
A date for the delivery of your wedding stationery will be agreed with you in advance and may be split if you would prefer to receive 'on the day' items nearer to your wedding day. We aim to complete all orders within six - eight weeks of receiving the required payment / deposit for your order. It is sometimes possible to process very urgent orders sooner than this, so please contact us if you require your wedding stationery sooner.
All orders are despatched using a secure insured delivery service (Royal Mail or our nominated courier, depending on the size and weight of your order).
A signature will usually be required upon receipt of the delivery. Risk of damage to or loss of the goods shall pass to the customer at the time of delivery or, if the customer wrongfully fails to take delivery of the goods at the time when Barker Cards had tendered delivery of the goods.
We take pride in making your order, and to ensure it reaches you safely we carefully package all stationery in tissue paper / bubble wrap before packing it safely into a strong cardboard box ready for despatch. Orders for bulk stationery items are likely to be reasonably heavy, so please take extra care when receiving your delivery.
If the outer packaging appears damaged at the time of signing for your delivery, please check the contents of the parcel in front of the courier (and before signing) to ensure your order is intact, complete and undamaged. If your order is received partially damaged or incomplete please note this on the courier's paperwork when signing and notify us immediately. If for any reason the parcel reaches you and all goods within are damaged, please refuse delivery and notify us immediately. In any case, a photograph showing the damage will be required in order for a claim to be made.
Next Working Day delivery cannot be guaranteed: for all parts of the UK Highlands and Islands (including the Isle of Wight and Isle of Man), in the event that the carrier used fails to comply with instructions to deliver next working day or in the event of industrial action by the carrier used.
Barker Cards cannot accept any liability for any loss resulting from late delivery or non-delivery of goods resulting from circumstances beyond our control.
Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure sufficient postage is paid when you post any stationery items to your guests. It is not the responsibility of Barker Cards. We recommend checking with either your local Post Office or Royal Mail's website: http://www.royalmail.com/ for the most up to date information.
Barker Cards cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs when you post individual items to your guests.
Overseas orders are welcome. Please email us to discuss your requirements so that we may confirm shipping costs and an approximate date for delivery. Overseas customers are responsible for any Customs charges that are incurred and Barker Cards cannot be held responsible for any delays due to your order being held in Customs or delays whilst in the care of the nominated carrier.
In the very unlikely event that we are unable to complete your order according to our agreed time-scale after proceeding with your proofs, we will notify you immediately. If this is due to something within our reasonable control, you will be offered a full refund for the invoiced value of goods and postage & packaging charge for products that have not already been despatched.
All product designs on www.barkercards.co.uk and bespoke designs generated for customers' orders and enquiries belong to Barker Cards and must not be reproduced or altered in any way without prior written consent from Barker Cards.
Barker Cards may feature products that have been designed or made especially for customers on this website or share product images on social media websites (such as Facebook or Twitter).
Rest assured that your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. Therefore we will never pass on your details, including email address, to anyone else. We will only use the email address or telephone number provided to contact you about the status of your order or any problems or queries that may arise during the processing of your order. Therefore, unless you have opted in to be on our emailing list you will not hear from us again. If you wish to be removed from the emailing list, you simply need to follow the link at the bottom of any email to unsubscribe.
